Luleå celebrates reaching 80,000 residents!

During Luleå On Ice, a festive celebration will take place to mark that Luleå has surpassed 80,000 residents. Throughout the day and evening, Södra Hamnplan will be filled with parades, lights, activities and a warm sense of togetherness for everyone who wants to join in and celebrate this milestone.

12:00–14:00 Juggling school with Phire

19:15 Parade through Luleå city centre to Södra Hamnplan

19:30 World record attempt for the largest number of snow angels on the ice below Södra Hamnplan

19:30 Lighting of all lanterns at Södra Hamnplan

20:00 Release of 1,000 sky lanterns from the ice at Södra Hamnplan

Additional information: In the evening, the grills at Södra Hamnplan will be lit. Feel free to bring something to grill.
