Brändöskär
Brändöskär is a special and stunningly beautiful island in the outermost archipelago. It is much exposed to weather and wind, but of all the islands it has the most genuine archipelago character.
On the island of Brändöskär in Luleå Archipelago, Luleå Council has a five-bed cottage for rent. There is a newly-built sauna on the shore a little further into the bay. In summer, you can get to Brändöskär among other things aboard the M/S Kungsholm or M/S Laponia. In winter, access is by snowmobile or skis.
