Snow mobile

Snowmobiles and the Archipelago are a perfect match. You can travel for kilometres without meeting a soul, close to nature in its frosty coat. Go on a safari with your family and friends, and experience winter together. Stop for a break and enjoy your picnic or pay a visit to one of the Archipelago restaurants.

When the ice has reached a suitable thickness, the Department of Recreation clears and signs snowmobile trails around the Archipelago. There are maps available at the Luleå Tourism Office or you can order a printout from this site.
