Hunting
Nowadays it is not just the excellent fishing that attracts people to the fishing spot Stora Stenträsket, but also the opportunity of bird and small game hunting. Sveaskog Forestry owns a 2,150 ha area around Stora Stenträsket where visitors can hunt.

If you are interested to hunt at Stora Stenträsket, call Johnny Engman on +46 (0)70-299 30 12.
To hunt you must buy a hunting permit, and naturally you also need a firearms licence.
Once you have bought a hunting permit you are given a map of the hunting ground and directions how to get there.
Hunting on Sveaskog land must be carried out in accordance with the Nordic Hunting Rules:

- Be a good hunting companion
