The oldest parts of the property were probably built in the 17th century, since it complies with the town plan for the burgher quarters, which was new at the time. The property however has never been an officer's dwelling as the name would seem to indicate. The triangular yard was completely enclosed and had several entrances. Today, there is a restaurant in the main building, which comprises three connected houses.
