Church Town Council

Gammelstad Church Town Council is an assembly of interests surrounding Gammelstad Church Town World Heritage Site. The council is a discussion and collaboration body for common issues in the World Heritage Site area. The Church Town Council addresses issues to do with management, securing the Church Town cultural environment and the Church Town tradition, as well as developing the Church Town as a visitor destination.

  • The Chief Culture Officer, Luleå Municipality, is the Chair The secretary is the World Heritage Site coordinator

The Church Town Council meets at least four times a year.
